HOLLYWOOD BASED KENYAN ACTOR OWISO ODERA COLLAPSES AND DIES

Sad news came in yesterday (4th November) that Kenyan Actor in Hollywood, Owiso Odera passed away. “He was at his actor housing complex. This past Thursday morning. His body was found outside the complex” his brother in Kenyan and also actor, Peter Oruka Odera told us. No more information has risen about this sudden death but we would like to convey to the family,friends and his fans our condolences.

Born to Kenyan parents in Khartoum, Sudan and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, Owiso Odera is a Los Angeles based actor whose television credits include Blue Bloods (CBS), Numb3rs (CBS), The Unit (CBS), FlashForward (ABC), recurring roles on Three Rivers (CBS) and DIRT (FX). Recently, fans of The Originals will remember him as Papa Tunde.

Owiso received his training at The Acting Studio in New York and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of California San Diego (UCSD).  He was the first recipient of the Princess Grace Foundation George C. Wolfe Theatre Award in 2004.

May He rest in Peace and His Legacy live forever more.
