KENYAN MOVIE #FUNDIMENTALS RECEIVES 3 NOMINATIONS AT @NEAAWARDS 2015 (NY)

2015 is definitely a Fundi-Mentals year for Historia Films and Gerald Langiri! After getting 2 nominations in the last edition of the AMVCA awards, the movie picks 3 more nominations in the prestigious Nigerian Entertainment Awards!  The movie is nominated in the category "Best African Movie" of 2015 (producers Lizz Njagah - John Wambugu), the director Alex Konstantaras is nominated for "Best African Director 2015" and the protagonist Gerald Langiri is nominated for "Best African Actor 2015"! Gerald was also voted recently as the 5th most handsome African actor of 2015!

Fundi-mental the movie ( a comedy) sees Gerald play Joseph and his assistant Moses (Charlie Karumi) who like to think of themselves as the Best Fundis in Kinoo, despite their unorthodox methods. But the entry of a new Multinational Service Company in town throws all this in jeopardy. To avoid going out of business, they introduce to their female customers a new type of Ex-press service with hilarious results!

Starring: Gerald Langiri, Charlie Karumi, Florence Nduta, Lizz Njagah, Kalekye Mumo, Neomi Ng’ang’a, Veronica Waceke, Ruth Maingi, Milkah Ndegwa and Ojiambo Ainea.

Together with Sauti Sol, Historia Films are the only Kenyan representatives in the awards! The 10th edition of the annual Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEA) is scheduled for September 6, 2015, in New York City.
