ANOTHER KENYAN FILM HITS THE BOX OFFICE: #WATATU PREMIERS ON 5TH JUNE

Watatu premiers on the 5th of June at Prestige plaza 7pm for only ksh 400. Another screening will be on 6th June at 7pm and Sunday 7th June at 3pm for only ksh 400. From the producers of the award winning hit movies Ndoto Za Elibidi and Ni Sisi Film 2013 comes yet another fabulous story that examines the relationships between different communities in Mombassa and the solutions to unite them.

Shot entirely on location in Mombasa and devised by SAFE Pwani and the residents of Mombasa, the film tells the story of three men who’s lives become fatally entwined.

The film examines the relationships between different communities and cultures in modern day Mombasa, the anger and radicalisation of young people, and the solutions that can be found to unite them.
