After a private screening where entertainment journalists, bloggers and critics alike were hosted for an exclusive screening at IMAX, the Kenyan comedy film Fundimentals is finally going to open its doors to the public. Rated 18+ by the Kenya Film Classification Board, below are some of things the critics have had to say;

“Hands down, this is the movie that is going to change the waning film industry in Kenya. An industry that has over the years been plagued by substandard films that Kenyans don't really watch anyway.” Ghafla.co.ke

The message in this film is very clear, and I’m sure many people can relate to it. Also be ready to laugh your head off because it’s also very funny, more during the sex scenes. The cinematography, directing and generally the whole production was equally awesome. “ Mpasho.co.ke

“a mental comedy with a great cast, exceptional plot and majestic cinematography.” africacelebritynews.com

“Hysterical, Kinky & Mental Indeed. Fundi-mentals is hilarious and will give you some genuine laugh out loud moments. The film does not really have a clear beginning, middle or end but it is interesting how the comedy sketch scenes featuring the fundi’s crazy antics are creatively presented and successfully tied together.” Kenyabuzz.com

“If you are a big fan of slapstick comedy , this is the movie for you. It is not your run of the mill kind of film. It full of vulgarity and obscenity  , just my cup of tea. Definitely not one for family consumption.” jaytakeapic.com

“I was pleasantly surprised by the great production and the multiple humorous moments the film was fortunately jam packed with.” Lyraoko.com
