JACKLINE WANJIKU KABOI born 24years ago is an Kenyan ACTRESS, VOICE OVER ARTIST, SCRIPT. Known to many as Jacky she is a budding young actress who hails from Muranga County in Kangema village and putting a mark and forging a name for herself in the Kenyan film industry.

Jacky has starred in several movies among them Tamed and Switch both done under Artskills films. Jacky finished her primary education at Eastleigh Airport School in Nairobi and later joined Kianderi secondary school in Muranga County for her O levels where she discovered her passion for acting. In 2010 Jacky took her love for arts a notch higher by enrolling at the East Africa media school to undertake a Diploma course in performing arts. She later joined the University of Nairobi where she pursued a Diploma certificate in community development. After the successful completion of her university Education Jacky engaged herself with various community works under the Kenya Association for the Intellectually Handicapped, teaching the disabled how to advocate for their rights through songs and poems.

Kaboi began her acting career in 2009 as a cast for Artskills films where she stage performed on school set books and her talent grew immensely. Filled with enthusiasm and determination she earned her place at the table as a stage director during the plays. In 2013 she moved to screen acting and landed herself a major acting role on the movie Tamed, a Mwendwa Mutua film under Artskills films. Her breakthrough came in 2014 when she was one of six nominees for the award of best supporting actress at the RiverWood academy awards but fell short of the title. She held her head high and her silver lining came later on in the same year as Jacky was nominated again for her a role as the best supporting actress still on the same movie tamed, only this time she bagged the award and took the trophy home during the July, 2014 Kalasha Film & TV Awards.

In 2014 she played a supporting role in the movie Switch, which premiered late last year at the Junction mall Century Cinemax. Currently, Jacky features on the new TV series Santalal showing on Kenya Citizen TV. Besides acting, Jacky has also done a variety of voice-overs for organizations spanning; Urithi Housing Finance, Orad Group of Companies, Elegance Interior Design, Cycad Electricians, Lil Magic Events Company, Eastleigh VCT Health and Sanitation and for Switch and Tamed promotional voice over documentary.
