Gerald Langiri
October 01 / 2014

After the news broke out that Actor and Director Omfwoko Aswani or better known as Fwoks by his peers, had been diagnosed with Liver Cancer (stage 3), sad news has just trickled in that he has passed away at approximately 9:10pm today(1st October)

He passed away at Nairobi West Hospital where he had been admitted.

It has barely been a month since Fwoks found out about the cancer and had been in and out of hospital receiving treatment and at one point it was reported that he might just be able to beat the cancer.

That was not however to be as preparation to lay him to rest are already underway and should be buried as soon as possible owing to his muslim faith that detects so.

Fwoks recently starred in the movie STRATA where he was playing the character Shebe.

As he finally finds peace from the suffering he was going through, please join us in passing messages of condolences to his family and friends.

Our collective hearts are heavy with sympathy.

Rest in Peace Omwfoko

 Omfwoko Aswani
