CATHERINE KAMAU LANDS A KSH 2 MILLION HARPIC DEAL

Gerald Langiri
August 07 / 2012

You may know her as Celina Mitego, the "beautiful and vivacious ,short tempered and sometimes over bearing" character that she plays in the Citizen TV show Mother in law.

Rumor has it that Catherine has signed a deal worth approximately ksh 2million as the new face and brand ambassador of the toilet bowl cleaning detergent Harpic. If indeed this is true, it means Susan Owiyo wont be knocking on your doors and asking you "umeshinda aje na choo ni safi?" anymore.

Critics had it that Susan was a bit boring in the harpics adverts and perhaps getting a beautiful talented actress to go clean peoples toilets is a better move from the manufacturers Reckitt Benckiser.

This move also puts Catherine in the list of the few millionaire actors we have in kenya who have solely gained riches from the profession. For those who thought acting in kenya cant pay, start thinking outside your toilets.

I do not know about you but if you dint have a reason to go out and get yourself a can of harpic, now you do.

My door will always be open waiting for you Celina.

Funny, i just thought of going to make my toilet dirty. :) who is coming with me?
